KITCHEN BACKSPLASH TILE TIPS

TIP 1:  A backsplash is not only a design aspect of your kitchen, but it is a practical aspect as well! A quality backsplash tile can take a beating from cooking stains, spills and boil overs (hello, who else has spaghetti sauce splatter all over their backsplash?!). Choose a tile that is easy to wipe off with a damp rag or paper towel!

TIP 2:  I HIGHLY recommend that you order a sample of tile before purchasing the full amount needed. I suggest ordering several tiles (10ish), so you can piece them all together to get a good idea of how the backsplash will look in your home with your countertops and cabinets!

KITCHEN BACKSPLASH TILE IDEAS

FYI: You can NEVER go wrong with a classic white subway tile … I love this clean and classic look! However, these other options are great if you want to have a little more fun!

1. I LOVE how this herringbone mosaic wall tile gives the look of basketweave! So unique and sophisticated!

2. This small staggered marble wall tile is another unique backsplash that you don’t see in many kitchens!

3. Marble is SO on trend right now … but also remains a classic because it’s STUNNING! This hexagon marble tile mosaic adds a fun element to your kitchen!

4. You really can’t go wrong with a grey subway wall tile! This is nearly identical to my kitchen backsplash. The 3″ x 6″ sized subway tile gives more of a traditional/transitional look, where a larger tile would lend to more of a contemporary feel.5. I LOVE this marble twist on a traditional subway tile! GORGEOUS!
