Just so you know … you’re making a great choice! Woven stools are a fabulous option if you have kids! We all know that kids hands are a *little* messy when eating … a woven stool is WAY easier to clean than upholstery (I speak from experience). Also, any stains you can’t remove will be nicely hidden by the woven texture!

1. RIVIERA COUNTER STOOL

How tall are counter stools?

A counter stool seat height is typically 24″, but can range from 23″-28″ measuring from floor to seat. Make sure to use the seat height measurement … NOT the back height.

Do I need to order counter stools or bar stools?

If you are purchasing stools for your kitchen island (35″-37″ from floor to countertop), you need counter stools (~24” seat height). If you are purchasing stools for a bar height counter (41″-43″ from floor to countertop), you need bar stools (~30” seat height).

How many counter stools do I need?

The number of counter stools needed depends on the width of your kitchen island (or peninsula). Measure your kitchen island and divide by the width of the counter stool you want to purchase. Also, allow for at least 4” between stools.

Example:  Kitchen Island Width 100” ; Stool Width: 18” + 4” (2” on either side) = 22” (note: I said 2″ on either side because you’ll also have 2″ from the stool next to it … this adds up to 4″ between stools)

100” / 22” = roughly 4 (you can comfortably fit four stools with this island size)
