Do you have an unused room or space in your home that you have no clue what to do with? Why not turn that empty room into a stylish and feminine home office that won’t break the bank?! Below is a home office FULLY decorated for just under $3000 (before tax and S/H)! Big style and low cost … yes, please!

Want to tighten the budget even more? Purchase the items during a promo period. Many of these retailers (West Elm, Serena and Lily, Pottery Barn, Lulu and Georgia) offer great promos regularly. Join their email list and be the first to know when a promotion is offered.

WALLPAPER

This Serena and Lily Feather wallpaper provides a neutral backdrop that you can easily layer with your favorite art or family photos! If you are new to wallpaper (welcome!), you can learn the basics here.

I LOVE wallpaper … but it can be costly. A great way to reduce the cost is to paper just one accent wall.

LOVE SEAT

I adore this simple white twill Pottery Barn love seat. It comes in several sizes, colors, and fabrics. I recommend the 56″ love seat for a small home office. I also recommend white or another neutral color. A neutral sofa color makes it very easy to change the whole look of a room by simply adding new throw pillows and accessories.

If your home office needs to double as a guest room, I suggest buying a sofa bed.

DESK

The minimal profile of the West Elm mid-century desk adds to the eclectic style of this design. I love mixing metals and wood. Hence the gold side table and gold accents on the light wood desk!West Elm Midcentury DeskRUG

The Prisha rug is a fabulous deal! It is only $150 for a 5′ x 8′! I happen to own the same rug in grey … LOVE it! In full disclosure, it might not be the thickest rug in your home, BUT it makes up for it in beauty and style! Also, it is very soft of your bare feet!

PILLOWS

The velvet navy pillows paired with the striped pillow add some texture and visual interest to the neutral sofa. The faux fur grey lumbar pillow on the chair adds even more texture and dimension to the space.

ART

I saved the best for last … this framed print is just beautiful! It is what really gives this room a feminine feel (without being too girly)! The room design remains fairly gender neutral, but this female print shows that a GIRL BOSS owns this office!

I hope you enjoy this stylish and feminine home office design as much as I do! As always, please send me a photo if you add any of these elements to your home design. I LOVE seeing design boards come to life! Also, I would love to hear from YOU! Is there a particular room (e.g. bedroom) you would like to see styled here on my blog? Is so, please comment below!

I designed my own custom home from the ground up, inside and out. A home that is cozy, comfy, laid out perfectly for the way my family lives, and makes us happy every single day. Oh, and did I mention I did this all without blowing the budget?!

Yep, it’s true. I’ve been there, done that, and actually lived through it … and you will too. Pinkie promise!
