Your entryway (a.k.a. foyer) is the first impression visitors have of your home. You want it to feel warm and inviting, but you also want guests to see your design style the moment they step foot in your house. One way to accomplish this is by adding a console table for guests to throw (well, place lightly) their keys or purse on (= inviting) and decorating this table (= shows your style). I’ve made this easy for you by rounding up five gorgeous neutral entry console table decor ideas below!

HOW DO YOU DECORATE A TABLE IN A FOYER?

Below are five (beautiful) ideas for how to style a console table in your entryway. You’ll notice themes in what I’m drawn to in console table decor … statement mirrors, matching lamps (or two tall objects) flanking each side of the table, organic elements (greenery), and stacked items such as books.

If you love these designs but have no clue where to buy similar items, don’t worry! I’ll get you started with some shopping ideas at the end of this post.

If your budget doesn’t allow you to buy all new decor (because that tends to happen after moving into a new home), then simply ‘shop’ your house for mirrors, vases, books, faux plants, etc. You can always mix and match new and ‘old’ items … that’s what I do in my own home :)!

Your entryway is your visitor’s first impression of your home … so don’t let it be an afterthought. I hope you loved these entry console table decor ideas as much as I do, and that you’re ready to pull your foyer decor together!

Now that you have some inspiration on how to decorate your foyer table, you can pick and choose from the items I’ve rounded up for you below. Don’t forget … you always can mix and match new decor with ‘old’ decor from around your house. Happy decorating :)!

    Carrie,

Love your house, love your blogs! We are getting ready to build a transitional cape cod /craftsman style home here in Eagle Idaho just outside of Boise.

In this post, where is the first console table pictured from?

    Thank you!

    • Hi Jennifer! How exciting that you’re about to build! I hear Idaho is GORGEOUS! To answer your question … I, unfortunately, don’t know exactly where the table is from since it isn’t my original photo or design. I have linked the original blogger’s website to each photo, so you can contact the original blogger and find out where the table is from. Sorry about that!
