The clean, simple lines of this white slipcovered bed make it an instant classic! If you love the look of a bed skirt, this bed is a great option. No more fumbling to get your bed skirt just right because it’s built into the entire bed’s slipcover!

I love the detail in this natural Serena & Lily rug! Not only does this rug look beautiful in the inspiration bedroom, but it would look great in a family room or dining room as well.

Who doesn’t love a beautiful bedside table that also doubles as storage?! I’m not going to lie … I had a very hard time finding a lower cost alternative to this beauty. If you love it, then this is a great place to splurge (more about that later)!

SERENA & LILY LOOK FOR LESS: NEUTRAL BEDROOM
This white upholstered bed is just about identical to our inspiration Serena & Lily bed above. The only difference between the two beds is that the Serena bed is slipcovered whereas this bed is upholstered … oh, and the prices are different ($3798 vs. $690 … both king size)!

The lower-cost rug alternative has similar detailing to the inspiration rug above … and it’s UNDER $200 for an 8×10!

I know this is a bit of a stretch from our inspiration bedside table … it doesn’t have the beachy vibe like above. However, this nightstand is similar in size and has ample storage just like our table above. Plus, it’s gorgeous!

CONCLUSION
The Serena & Lily inspiration room is STUNNING! However, it costs nearly $8000 total (with a king bed and 8×10 rug). Yikes! The bedroom redo is ONLY about $2000 (with a king bed and 8×10 rug). Whoo hoo!
You now have options! You can buy all the products from the ‘look for less’ or you can mix and match some of the Serena & Lily products with products from the less expensive retailers. You can certainly do some high/low decorating … splurge in some areas and save in some areas. If I were doing a high/low mix for this bedroom, I would splurge on the furniture and save on the rug and linens. Just sayin’!
