3 GREAT PLACES TO BUY TRENDING DOOR HARDWARE ONLINE

Below are my top three choices for where to find beautiful door hardware online.

BUILD

Build.com is my first go-to for just about any finishes online. They have a large selection of gorgeous and trending door hardware options, but you can also find just about anything else you’ll need when it comes to buying finishes for your new home.

Just so ya know … two of my favorite door hardware brands (Emtek and Schlage) can be found at Build.com. I have these two brands throughout my own home.

REJUVENATION

Rejuvenation is part of the Pottery Barn family of stores. They primarily sell finishes for your home (e.g. hardware, lighting fixtures, and bathroom fixtures).

Rejuvenation has a small selection of door hardware that is very sleek and gorgeous in addition to more traditional options.

SCHOOLHOUSE

Schoolhouse has a curated collection of exterior door hardware. There are some really simple, yet beautiful options for your exterior doors.

Shop my carefully curated Door Hardware Boutique.

WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR COLOR FOR DOOR KNOBS?

Matte gold is still trending big time in 2020, BUT all door hardware finish color options remain quite popular

The most timeless color for doorknobs is any variation of silver (i.e. satin nickel, stainless steel, silver, etc.).

Other popular door hardware finishes/colors include oil rubbed bronze, black, and matte gold (not shiny brass). You honestly can’t go wrong with any of these finishes. Out of this list, I think that oil rubbed bronze will stand the test of time the most … just like silver.

SHOULD DOOR HARDWARE MATCH THROUGHOUT HOUSE?

I am all about mixing metals in my home BUT when it comes to door hardware (i.e. doorknobs, door levers, and door hinges), I keep it all consistent.

Every single door in my home has a stainless steel door lever and hinge.

I recommend that you keep your door hardware consistent throughout your house as well. This is one of the ways to create a cohesive design flow.

You can go a little more ‘wild’ by mixing up light fixture finishes and metal accents throughout your home.

TIME TO SEARCH FOR DOOR HARDWARE

Now that you know what is trending in door hardware finishes and you have a list of 3 places to buy trending door hardware online, it’s time to start your search for that perfect door knob or lever.

Check out the retailers mentioned above OR you can make it really easy on yourself and shop my carefully curated Door Hardware Boutique!
