First, we need to answer the question, ‘Is wallpaper still in style?’
YES, my friend!
Wallpaper has been in style for years (I’ve had it in my house for 15+ years), and it isn’t going ANYWHERE!
Wallpaper is still a huge design element in homes, and it is truly my FAVORITE way to customize my home.
WHAT ROOMS ARE BEST FOR WALLPAPER?
Wallpaper can completely transform the look of any room. It’s kind of magical how much it transforms a space.
If you’re new to wallpaper, I recommend starting with a small room (e.g. powder room or laundry room). Once you’re feeling more adventurous, you can hang wallpaper anywhere, and it doesn’t have to go on every wall in a room.
I’ve been trying to get my sister to add wallpaper for years, and her husband said ‘NO!’ every time. Now he’s slightly open to it, so my sister asked me to send her pics of all the wallpaper in my house. (this conversation literally just happened yesterday)
While I was taking pics, I realized that we have a TON of wallpaper in our house.
We have it in our powder room, dining room, kitchen dining area, accent walls in every single bedroom, one of our full bathrooms, our basement stair landing, and in a custom nook in our second-floor hall. Holy cow! That’s a lot of wallpaper … and I LOVE it!
