Serena & Lily Counter Stools: Look for Less

Serena & Lily’s coastal-style counter stools are gorgeous, but some of them are pretty pricey. Thankfully, they have great sales periodically, and this is a fabulous time to buy the stools, OR you have a second option … you can buy Serena & Lily counter stools: Look for Less dupes.

I’ve scoured the internet to find less expensive options that look very similar to some of Serena & Lily’s most popular stools (i.e the Balboa counter stool, the Riviera counter stool, and the Backless Riviera counter stool).

SERENA & LILY BALBOA COUNTER STOOL

This is one of my absolute favorite woven counter stools! I would have purchased the Balboa stools (in mist or natural) if I hadn’t custom-recovered my counter stools right before the Balboa was released as an option.

I’m still keeping this stool in mind for the future … and I would most definitely buy it during one of their fabulous sales (not the full price because it’s $$$).

It comes in a grey wash (mist) and a natural woven finish; both options are stunning. Make sure to also purchase a Balboa stool cushion (which comes in a variety of fabric choices) to make seating more comfortable.

BALBOA STOOL: LOOK FOR LESS

I found a near-exact match in the Amara Rattan Counter Stool from Overstock. It looks almost identical and is about half the price of Serena & Lily’s Balboa stool.

It even has the gold bar detail in the footrest!

SERENA & LILY RIVIERA COUNTER STOOL

Another Serena & Lily favorite is the Riviera counter stool, which comes in a variety of colors.

Not only is it a trendy and beautiful stool, but it’s also super practical!

The woven material is easy to wipe off grimy little kid spills and fingerprints :).

RIVIERA STOOL: LOOK FOR LESS

Wayfair’s Modern Bistro Rattan Counter Stool is a great dupe for the Riviera counter stool, and it was only a fraction of the price!

SERENA & LILY RIVIERA BACKLESS COUNTER STOOL

If you love the style of the Riviera stool but don’t want a back on your stool, you’re in luck! The Riviera backless counter stool is a great alternative, and like the Riviera with a back, this backless stool also comes in a variety of colors.

RIVIERA BACKLESS: LOOK FOR LESS

Wayfair’s Alastair counter stool looks VERY similar to the Riviera backless stool and is almost half the cost … but IS 2″ shorter (just an FYI)!

CONCLUSION

Serena & Lily’s coastal-style counter stools are gorgeous, but some of them are pretty pricey. In this post, I shared Serena & Lily counter stools: Look for Less dupes for three of the most popular stools: the Balboa, the Riviera, and the Backless Riviera.

If you really have your heart set on the ‘real thing’ (i.e. the Serena & Lily stools), buy the stools during one of Serena & Lily’s fabulous sales that happen periodically throughout the year :).

Serena & Lily: Counter Stools

I designed my own custom home from the ground up, inside and out. A home that is cozy, comfy, laid out perfectly for the way my family lives, and makes us happy every single day. Oh, and did I mention I did this all without blowing the budget?!

Yep, it’s true. I’ve been there, done that, and actually lived through it … and you will too. Pinkie promise!
